SchoolBuddy live tuition is streaming in HD quality, as long as your internet speed allows you to watch HD video on Facebook or YouTube seamlessly, it should be no problem. Technically, if your download speed is 4Mbps or above, it should be running smoothly.

Any devices which can connect to the internet and have browser to access our website can be used for SchoolBuddy live interactive tuition. Some of the common devices are desktop PC, laptop, iPad, etc.

Smartphone is not recommended for students to access live tuition for a long period, a student's eyes will easily get tired due to the smaller screen. Parents can connect their laptop to TV with HDMI cable, utilize screen mirroring function through smartphone and other methods to join our live tuition with larger screen.

1. Go to schoolbuddy.online

2. Look for the tuition session that you want.

There are 2 ways to do it:

2.1 Use the "Search" function (highly recommended). 

Search for the tuition session that you are looking for, by key in all these metrics:

• Standard/Form
• Subject Name
• Month and/or Year

For example, this is Year 2020 and if you are looking for the January tuition session of Science subject for your Form 1 kid, just key in "Form 1 Science January 2020" in the Search box located on the website's header or footer, and that particular tuition session will be shown in the result page.

OR

2.2 Select through our Collection List on the header or middle of our home page.

After selecting year of study and the subject that you want, all the tuition sessions for that particular subject will appear, and the next step is sorting, from new to old.

Now, you got the latest tuition session for that particular subject.

3. Confirm and "Add To Cart"/"Buy It Now"

Read through the description of the tuition session to confirm this is the one you are looking for, then click "Buy It Now" or "Add to Cart". The description includes details of the subject, subject's syllabus (Malay or English syllabus), teaching medium, tutor name, date and time of all live tuition sessions in that month.

Click "Buy It Now" if you just want to buy that particular tuition session.

Click "Add To Cart" if you want to subscribe more tuition sessions and make payment at once.

4. Complete your order by making online payment.

When you want to checkout from your cart, you need to sign up an account (for new customer) or sign in to your existing account. You can sign up by clicking "Create Account" or sign up directly with your Facebook account or Gmail account, and then sign in directly with your Facebook or Gmail account next time.

After signing up/signing in, please confirm your billing address and click "Continue to Payment", follow by "Complete Order". If you have any discount code, you can key in now and hit the "Apply" button to get discounted price.

After clicking "Complete Order", you will be redirect to our payment gateway. Please choose your payment method (Credit/Debit card payment service will be available after April 2020), confirm your "Net Charges", select the bank (For FPX Online Banking), and click the "Proceed" button.

Please complete your order by following the instructions. Once your payment is success, you will be redirect back to our website with payment success notification. You are able to confirm your order in your account's order history, at the same time, you will be receiving a confirmation email as well.

These are the steps in subscribing SchoolBuddy tuition session. Please refer to next article on "How to access?" to access your tuition session. As usual, it is very simple and user friendly!

1. For first time customer, after your first subscription, you will receive an activation email (please refer to the picture below) in your registered email (if you sign up with facebook account, it will send to your facebook registered email). Click "Click here to set your password", and it will redirects you to the password setting page. Upon setting up your new password, you are able to log in with your email and new password.

2. To login, there are 2 ways to do it:

2.1 Go to courses.schoolbuddy.online.

2.2 Click "Start Learning!" on the header of our homepage (schoolbuddy.online) and it will redirects you to courses.schoolbuddy.online log in page.

3. After log in, you are able to access all your subscribed courses. To ease your searching, you can use the "Search" function by key in the subject's name and month. Click the "Start Course" button to start accessing your tuition.

4. For tuition with live session, you are required to install a software known as "Zoom" by clicking "download & run Zoom". If you already installed it, click "click here" (as shown in the picture below) to start the live session. You are required to key in your email address and name when joining Zoom, and it will appear in tutor's attendee list.

If you have any questions to ask after the live session, you can key in your questions in the "Discussion Board" on the top right corner of every pages (Live Tuition, Recorded Tuition, Notes and Exercise). Tutor or other students will be answering your question shortly, and it can be seen by all students.

5. To access the recorded tuition video, simply click the "Recorded Tuition" option on your left. Normally, the recorded version of live tuition will be upload within 24 hours after the live session. You can view the recorded tuition directly on the screen without installing or opening any software.

6. To access tuition notes, simply click the "Notes" button on left side to download. After download complete, you can open it with Microsoft Office or WPS Office (free) and then print it out or start reading.

7. To access Weekly Exercise, simply click on it and you can start answering. There are various types of question options (single objective answer, multiple objective answer, true/false, fill-in, subjective and etc) to enhance the learning experience, please follow the instruction of each question when answering. At the end of the exercise, you are able to know your overall score, time used, scores by category (easy, moderate and hard questions) and our recommendations.

If you wish to review and check your questions with correct answers and explanations, click the "Review Results" on bottom left of your result page. You can retake the exercise for unlimited times, and you are recommended to do it frequently. To quit exercise page and go back to the main page of your course, just click "Back to the Course" on bottom right of your result page.
